Transit of Russian gas through Ukraine continues to decline

The transit of Russian gas through Ukraine on Monday on April 18, is expected to stay half the contractual obligations “Gazprom”.

According to the “Operator of the GTS of Ukraine”, applications for pumping through the stations “of the judges” and “Savenik” amount to 56.88 million cubic meters, which is close to the level of the previous day (56.5 million). It is almost two times lower than the maximum commitments of Gazprom – about 109.6 million cubic meters per day. At the same time, the Russian company notes that supplies gas for transit regular, in accordance with the applications of European consumers.

Applications began to decline from April 8. At the level close to 57 million cubic meters, the application holds from April 16.
