Armenians put a man-made monument to Russian peacemaker

Armenian separatists living in the area of ​​responsibility of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh opened a monument to the peacemaker on the territory of the Russian military town in Hankendi, RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that the monument is established in honor of the first anniversary of the input of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh.

In the solemn ceremony, Deputy Commander of the Southern Military District, Lieutenant-General Rustam Muradov and Commander of the Peaceological Contingent of the Russian Federation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Gennady Anashkin, took part in the solemn ceremony.

As part of the ceremony, a laying of a time capsule with a message to descendants took place.
