Azerbaijan: tariffs for supply of gasoline have been changed

Azerbaijan changed tariffs for the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel. At a meeting of the tariff council, Socar appeal was considered to determine tariffs for the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel.

It should be noted that changes in tariffs will not affect the retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel.

According to the Council, which is still valid, the wholesale tariff (including the supply tariff) for oil products was introduced taking into account all the costs associated with transportation to the place of retail sale. And since the supply tariff includes both the costs of storage and transportation on wholesale points and the costs of delivery to retail points, this led to the occurrence of disputed situations, violation of financial discipline, depending on the type of service between subjects.

In this regard, appropriate analytical work was carried out over the past period, and in order to exclude such cases, it was considered appropriate to change the tariff chain, preserving the retail tariff for gasoline and diesel fuel at the same level – 1.0 manat/liter and 0, 0, 80 manat/liter, and set supplies for wholesale and retail trade separately.

The fraud for the wholesale supply of gasoline and diesel fuel is increased from 18 manat to 20 manat per ton, at gas stations – increased from 100 manat to 108 manat per ton, and the tariff for transporting these products is set at 3 manat per ton.
