Sakhil Babayev told Britain Ambassador about a new brand of Azerbaijan

In Baku, a meeting of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Sakhil Babayev and the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland James Sharpe was held.

As reported by Haqqin.az in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the minister said that due to the victory of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War, territories were liberated, which were under the Armenian occupation about 30 years. Currently, large-scale creative work is underway in these territories, which over the years of occupation were completely destroyed and defeated by Armenian fascists. The minister also emphasized the priority for our country of participation in this process of the countries friendly to the countries.

Regarding social reforms held in Azerbaijan, S. Babayev spoke about measures taken towards ensuring social protection of vulnerable groups, as well as the concept of Dost, a new brand of Azerbaijan.

The Minister also spoke about reforms in disabilities, on the work carried out in order to modernize the rehabilitation system, increase its efficiency and accessibility. The importance of the project was noted jointly implemented with British Council, to expand the employment opportunities of persons with disabilities.

Minister Babaev also noted that positive results were achieved as a result of cooperation with BP in the field of demographic research and personnel capacity.

S. Babaev also spoke about the successful development of connections between Azerbaijan and Great Britain, expanding cooperation with the relevant structures in the field of labor, employment, social protection, as well as the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, the provision of social services based on the principle “single window”, noted Availability of great potential for active exchange.

In turn, J. Harp stressed that the continuous expansion of bilateral cooperation, the development of communication in the social sphere, the implementation of the exchange of experience can be mutually beneficial for both parties.
