It is expected that Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Zte and Meizu will present phones with new self-chambers under the display in the afternoon. Devices from Samsung and OPPO using the sub-emerge sensor will be folding, and the first Xiaomi with this technology will be MI MIX 4.
New technology involves using the display at the site, under which the photo seensor is located, combinations of organic and inorganic materials. This makes a small area transparent for the camera, but on the eye indistinguishable from the rest of the screen.
The first such smartphone was ZTE Axon 20 5G, released in the fall of 2020. The model was not very successful – the sub-stamped camera was criticized due to the mediocre picture of the shooting, which was compared with zero button phones.
