US accused Russia of Ukrainians genocide

The US Senate Committee on international relations adopted a resolution in which the actions of Russia against Ukraine are called the genocide of the Ukrainian people. The document was proposed by the senators of both the democratic and republican party and calls on the US government to impose sanctions on the Magnitsky Act involved in the war, BBC reports.

The authors of the resolution, among others, became the democrats of Ben Cardin (he heads the American Helsinki Commission) and Richard Blmental, as well as Republican Senators Jim Rish and Lindsay Graham.

The resolution condemns Russia for genocide against the Ukrainian people. Calls the United States, NATO and European allies to support the Ukrainian government to prevent further acts of the Ukrainian people from Russia. He supports tribunals and international criminal investigations in order to bring to justice the Russian political leadership and the military guilty of an aggressive war, war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. He calls on the US President to use the Magnitsky act [adopted for conducting sanctions against the Personal Personal Lawyer of the Hermitagecapital Foundation Sergey Magnitsky] in relation to the guilty and involved in the genocide in Ukraine.
